Welcome to the fascinating and extreme art of FLOATING HIDE PHOTOGRAPHY (FHP). As there are extreme categories of sports, FHP is a extreme out shoot of wildlife photography, especially Water Bird Photography.
The main aim of Floating Hide Photography is to make photographs of birds at almost water level and rendering the background completely blurred.
The main idea behind is that all animals especially water birds are very timid and takes off when sees a human form. As such, it is almost impossible to reach them at a close distance. Once you conceal the human form like in FHP, the birds are more relax and they consider the hide a part of vegetation. They let you get much closer to them much closer then you can ever imagine.
